Amanda M. Kerestes, Esq.

Amanda L. Kerestes, Esquire is an experienced associate attorney who has successfully assisted clients regarding family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, support, protection from abuse, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. Amanda also has experience with Juvenile and Orphans Court matters as well as estate planning and administration.

Amanda completed her undergraduate education at The Pennsylvania State University in 2008, making the Dean’s List every semester and graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a minor in Legal Environment of Business. She then earned her Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law in 2013 with a Real Property concentration.

During law school, Amanda served as the co-editor of the Judge James Zoning Digest and as a Certified Legal Intern for zoning cases. She was also an active member of the Tangled Title Project through the Equity Protection Legal Clinic. Amanda additionally earned the Cali Excellence for the Future Award from her professor, Cyril Wecht, for receiving the highest grade in the Legal Medicine and Forensic Analysis course and received the Distinguished Clinical Work Award from her participation in the Urban Development Clinic.

Prior to joining Notaro Epstein Family Law Group, Amanda gained both small, general practice law firm experience where she assisted clients with a wide variety of legal issues as well as large, family law firm experience, which enables her to remain a strong advocate for her clients at the firm. While knowledgeable and dedicated, Amanda is also known for being easy to relate to and she is devoted to obtaining desired results for clients by giving each her personal attention.

Amanda is licensed to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Western District of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the American Inns of Court-Family Law Section, and the Penn State University Alumni Association.

As a Pittsburgh native, she loves the city and its culture and her favorite thing to do in her spare time is to spend quality time with her Husband and her three children. She is an active member of her local community where she currently serves as the Head Varsity Competitive Cheerleading Coach at Pine-Richland High School as well as an Assistant Coach for her daughter's Pine-Richland youth cheerleading team.
