Leah D. Zawasky, Esq. is an associate attorney who has successfully assisted clients with a variety of family law matters including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, and marital property distribution. Prior to joining Notaro Epstein Family Law Group, P.C., Leah worked for a military nonprofit organization assisting injured Veterans managing their Department of Veterans Affairs claims. Prior to that, she worked at an insurance defense litigation firm where she assisted with both insurance defense matters as well as with family law matters.
Leah attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Government: Politics and Policy and earned a minor in Strategic Intelligence. She then went on to obtain her Juris Doctor degree from Liberty University School of Law. During law school, Leah worked for the United States Coast Guard Legal Service Command in Norfolk, VA where she assisted in both the Office of Military Justice as well as the Office of Mission Support. She also spent time working in the Legal Assistance office at the Portsmouth, VA base, which included time meeting with military members to discuss their divorce matters. Following her time there, Leah then went on to work at U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, D.C. assisting with a variety of general law matters.
Leah’s experience in family law and background working with military personnel have molded her into a passionate and zealous advocate. Her past experiences allow her to better serve clients with navigating through what may otherwise be a confusing and tolling legal process.
Leah is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in both the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court of Western Pennsylvania.
Leah is a Pittsburgh native, growing up in the South Hills. In her spare time, she enjoys going to both new and old restaurants in the Pittsburgh area. She also enjoys running - to those same restaurants.
