Bethany L. Attorney Notaro is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA (BA, cum laude, Psychology), and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (JD). She obtained her undergraduate degree in the field of psychology, with a special concentration in the counseling arts. Ms. Notaro received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She trained in Conflict Resolution and Professional Mediation at the Pittsburgh Mediation Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ms. Notaro is a member of the Family Law Sections of both the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations. She also serves on the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Board of Arbitrators. Susan A. Heinemann is an experienced divorce attorney who practices all over Western Pennsylvania. She also handles the wills and estates and business cases of Notaro & Associates, P.C. She is a 1996 graduate from the University of Pittsburgh where she earned her B.A. in Business and Political Science with honors. After working in business for a number of years, Ms. Heinemann attended Duquesne University's School of Law. Ms. Heinemann earned a spot on the Duquesne Law Review and published an article in 2003 on government regulation of the investment industry. Ms. Heinemann gained her first legal experience as a law clerk from 2003 to 2004. Ms. Heinemann earned her Juris Doctorate Degree in June 2004. Afterwards, she practiced in Family Law in the South Hills of Allegheny County. Ms. Heinemann is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association Family Section. In addition, she has participated in the Matrimonial Inns of Court in Allegheny County. In late 2007, Ms. Heinemann joined Notaro and Associates as an Associate Attorney.
Michael B. Greenstein, Esquire, born and raised in Philadelphia, was graduated from Brandeis University in 1988 with a Bachelor's Degree in American Studies. In 1991 he earned his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He began practicing Family Law in 1992. Mr. Greenstein continued to operate as a solo Family Law practitioner until 2003, when he joined his practice into a larger law firm. Mr. Greenstein was proud to join Notaro & Associates, P.C. in March 2009.
In addition to his practice of Family Law, Mr. Greenstein has served as an arbitrator for the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County and also completed an intensive program of mediation training. In 2008 he substitute-taught several Family Law class sessions at the Duquesne University School of Law. He is a member of the Family Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
Mr. Greenstein believes in a personal approach to the practice of Family Law.
